1. Kit Preparation: Inspect the sterile packaging and verify that all components are intact, undamaged, and within their expiration dates.
2. Blood Collection: A qualified healthcare professional collects the required amount of the patient's blood into the designated PRP collection tube according to the manufacturer's instructions.
3. Sample Preparation: Gently invert the collection tube, if instructed, to ensure proper mixing of the blood with the supplied anticoagulant.
4. Centrifugation: Place the collection tube into a compatible, properly balanced centrifuge and process the blood using the manufacturer's validated centrifugation settings.
5. Plasma Separation: Following centrifugation, identify the platelet-rich plasma fraction and separate it from the other blood components according to the approved preparation protocol.
6. PRP Collection: Carefully collect the prepared platelet-rich plasma using appropriate sterile equipment while maintaining aseptic conditions.
7. Clinical Application: The prepared PRP may be used by a qualified healthcare professional for procedures consistent with the manufacturer's approved indications and application methods.
